Ask Marian Anything (AMA)

Marian is our resident in-house security guru.  What Marian doesn’t know about security technology isn’t worth knowing -  having worked as an alarm engineer for the last 10 years, installing alarm and CCTV systems across the UK.

Marian’s specialist subjects include:

• General intruder alarm trouble-shooting
• General CCTV trouble-shooting
• Experience with: Texecom, Honeywell & other security manufacturers
• AHD CCTV

Marian is available via telephone / Skype, to help remotely set-up any equipment or deal with any technical trouble-shooting problems you may have.

You can book either 20 minutes or 60 minutes of Marian’s help.   To get the most out of Marian, we suggest you prepare in the following way:

1. Get as much information to hand as possible in advance of talking to Marian
2. Ideally send Marian an email in advance of your conversation with him - outlining what you want him to help you with.  If it’s help setting up a new piece of equipment, then inform him what equipment and any other specifics.  If it’s help trouble-shooting with an existing piece of equipment, then information on the problems you want to solve and ideally photos if relevant (so he has some visual context).

N.B. Marian’s time is planned in 15 minute blocks, so if you’ve booked 30 mins - then it may be the case that you split your call with him into two separate 15 minute calls.
